Neil Buchanan spent 8 days making a giant picture of a diver out of everyday office stationary in Farmer Blisset's field. So big was the picture that it could be seen from space. Therefor, imagine Neil's dissappointment when passing aliens left their opinion of his work via a message in a 'corn circle' next to it.

Neil was not allowed into the celebrity premiere of the movie 'Free Willy 4' (in which budget restrictions made 'Willy' not a whale, but a jellyfish) after cinema staff caught him smuggling in a bag of Banana Chews, Cola Bottles and Space Raiders with the intent of saving money by not having the cinema's own overpriced pick and mix.
The 'Try it at home' catchphrase from Art Attack was also intended to be used on 'Finders Keepers' - Neil's game show in which children trash a wacky house for prizes.
The 'Finders Keepers' house is built upon an ancient Roman burial ground. Once, a toilet which was only supposed to squirt a waterpistol, instead pumped out 5 gallons of blood onto the gobsmacked face of the contestant who'd only opened it in search of a funcam. The pressure of the blast threw him up against the wall with such a force that he went right through the plaster into the neighbouring studio where they were filming a halloween 'You've Been Framed'. Upon seeing Lisa Riley dressed as a pumpkin, the contestant thought he'd died and gone to hell.
Neil's great great(x14) grandfather was also a fan of art on a big scale. He discovered Italy with the intention of eroding the coast into the shape of a giraffe's head - but died before making the tongue and colouring it in with flowers.
Season 7 of 'Art Attack' had to be postponed after the tapes were confiscated by police due to a tip-off that the picture 'bowl of flowers in shopping trolleys and towels' didn't have planning permission.
Neil tried to up the class of viewers on Art Attack by making the 'try it at home' sculptures out of Ferrero Rocher wrappers and tapes of 'Heartbeat'
