Cher has an
amazing ability whereby simply by listening to the sounds of old
Commodore 64 tapes being played, she can tell the exact genre
and description of the game. "With my ears, it's just like listening to
a talking book", she said.
However, she can't tell what Spectrum tapes are since they're recorded in
a futuristic form of French.

"If I could turn back time" was recorded entirely on one breath.
At the end, Cher was purple and exhaused, but elated with a great
sense of achievement.

The original lyrics to "Believe" were
"Do you believe in life after death?", however it was changed to
"Do you believe in life after love?" in order to stop people in clubs
feeling that they're pissing their life away when it comes on the turntables.

Hi-Tech Cher has just recently completed upgrading
all of her record collection from vinyl to cassette.

Shortly after divorcing Sonny, Cher won a romantic holiday for two to
Venice. However, since she no longer had a lover to take,
the competition
organisers forced her to go twice on her own - where she had an
increasingly miserable time.

The best joke of all time voted for by listeners to Century FM in
August 2000 was
"Why does Cher have a tattoo on her bum? So she knew where to put
the motorbike"
The runner up was "I say - Sonny Bono's been killed in a skiing accident...
yes, he fell out of a CHER lift".
The lyrics to "Against All Odds" by Phil Collins was a surprising third.

'Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves' was Cher's idea for "a straight Village People".
However, she found out that those three images were only common sexual
fantasies within the bar where she filmed the video for 'Real Dead Ringer
for Love' with Meatloaf and so she ended up performing their theme
song herself.

The idea behind that voicebox effect she over uses was for the
metallic sound of her new voice to counterbalance the plastic
appearance of her new body, and thus make her overall appearance come
across as
completely natural.

|
Despite rumours to the contrary, Cher has never had plastic surgery.
Instead, she has used a relatively unknown form of cosmetic alteration
known as molecular surgey, in which it's all her own body, just put in a
different order. She has size 14 feet.
