The 'walrus' which Paul McCartney referrs to in "I am the Walrus" is in fact two
things - A Toys R Us store and it's neighbouring Wal-mart supermarket.
The song popped into his head when he was driving
so fast past them that their signs blurred together creating the
illusion of a third store in the middle, which
Paul assumed must sell the moustached sea creature of its' name.
"How sad", he said in his Yellow Submarine voice - "Those little
fellows will never find a home as noone can possibly park at the speed it
takes for their store to appear."
This incident also inspired in him the song 'Nowhere Man' and the movie
'Speed' - the idea of which he came up with when contemplating how he might manage
a rescue attempt for the walrai.

During 'An Audience With Paul McCartney (from the Beatles)', Nelly Furtado stood up
and asked Paul,
"Like the Beatles, I've had many hits and have seen both the
upside and the downside of fame. I feel as if my face is perhaps,
like the Beatles, bigger than Jesus - and with the digital age
upon us, perhaps more omnipotent than God. I feel as if my new
album is my best work yet?". She then looked at him as if she'd
just asked
a question and was waiting for an answer.
He simply nodded and put his thumb up in the air out of manners,
though in his head wondered whether he could buy her.

Up in heaven, Linda McCartney is holding onto Heather Mill's dead leg
in the hope that when eventually she turns up with her Paul, they can come
to some sort of swapping arangement.

When the Beatles first turned up in America, they did lots of hilarious
puns ("How did you find America?" Howard Stern. "I just turned left
at Tescos" Ringo Starr) The intention behind this was to be more
like the Monkees and hopefully strike a deal for a TV series or a
rubbish future cover version by The Farm whilst
over there.

Shaun Ryder got into drugs after being inspired by the Beatles.

Although he started it three months before the others, Paul
could only grow a bumfluff beard and so for
The Blue Album cover, his
had to be painted on.

The planned Beatles reunion has been cancelled due to the death
of George Harrisson. In it's place, Ringo and Paul shall be
touring the stadiums of Britain in their tribute band - the bootleg
White Stripes.
Some say it is unfair them playing stadiums when the White Stripes
only play small gigs but as any Mojo reader will tell you - we wouldn't
have ANY music at all without the Beatles. They invented it
so can do what they like. Besides, there's only so many songs
for a two piece drum and a guitar outfit so they'll just have to share.

The Beatles weren't so ahead of their time. They simply took drugs
which altered their time perception to such an extent that they could
rip off bands from the future. Candy Flip wrote 'Strawberry Fields Forever',
William Shatner, 'Lucy in The Sky with Diamonds' and Banananrama featuring
Nananeeneenoonoo, 'Help'.
