INFO: Acclaimed director David Lynch (Blue Velvet, The Straight
Story, Playstation 2 adverts, 'I fancy Your Mum' Birdseye advert) remakes
his own film 'Eraserhead' and brings it up to date by filling it with
product placement, overpaid cameos and reducing the running time to a
less concentration requiring 1 minute. "We were hoping to make it for DMX, but 'Romeo Must Die' was already a good showreel for him, so it became a Posh and Bextor vehicle instead... but are they two separate people or merely the same person played by two different actresses? Are they imaginary or are they imagining you?" says Lynch in this film. The advert/movie itself is open to interpretation and raises many questions - just like my flatmate did when she came in the room to ask "Can you believe my brother doesn't want to go and see Bryan Adams?". Only these questions can't be answered with a simple 'Yes/Yes' answer. No talking. |
