We are pleased to announce the release of a new 5s Series mini CD by a new Ten Songs artist, Jim Nield.

Jim's approach to music is informed by his eclectic musical background. Acoustic music has always featured significantly in his playing and listening. In the early 90s he spent a year based in Cornwall working and touring with singer/songwriter Mazlyn Jones. Returning to North Yorkshire he continued to write and perform on a range of instruments both solo and in various collaborations. As a member of Red Trees Jim has previously played live with our other artists, including Steve Lyons and Steven Stanley.

Jim's CD entitled 'Encounters' is a 'one instrument, one mic, one afternoon of spontaneous song improvisation' snapshop of the stages of a relationship. For more information, visit his page here.
