We invite proposals for each of these projects. If you are a singer-songwriter and would like to submit some original music for consideration, please contact hmsbeckett@gmail.com, ideally with a link to online music.


It was proposed to several ‘bedroom’ singer-songwriters that each record a composition of no more than two minutes in length in response to preceding recordings, then pass it on to another songwriter. The project is ongoing and has been deeply valuable in that we are all now writing shorter songs!

Ten Songs <5 series is a platform for songwriters to collate a series of their most recent songs, with the same theme or themes, together into a type of document recording that particular period creatively. We like the idea of forming a library of solo demos, featuring songs that may later be worked on more fully.


The label began with the proposal that each of us produce an album of ten original songs (see below).
